Wishlist Wednesday | Most Anticipated June 2024 Releases

We have a few days in May left, so it’s time to start talking about the books releasing in June. What books are we looking forward to? Today we’ll be telling you all about them in this most anticipated June releases post. Keep on reading to see what books are releasing that we can’t wait to get our hands on.

Barely Even Friends – Mae Bennett (June 4th)

Barely Even Friends is a steamy Beauty and the Beast retelling! How can I pass that up? Reading the synopsis also has me thinking this book will be a little emotional.

Past Present Future – Rachel Lynn Solomon (June 4th)

Today Tonight Tomorrow was one of my favorite 2020 reads and I was so excited when the author announced a sequel with these two characters. As I’m typing this I’m about halfway through my eARC of Past Present Future and I’m loving it! This author is proving to me again why I love her books so much.

Leather & Lark – Brynne Weaver (June 4th)

Butcher & Blackbird was a book I was never expecting to love, but I did. It’s dark and goes a lot further with things than any book I’ve read has done. That being said, I was hooked. So when I saw this was going to be a trilogy, I had to keep an eye out. Leather & Lark is releasing soon and I can’t wait to get this in my hands.

Not in Love – Ali Hazelwood (June 11th)

Ali Hazelwood is an auto-buy author. I don’t even need to know what the book is about before I pick it up. Ali’s books tend to have the same formula, but I can’t get enough. Not in Love kind of gives me forbidden romance kind of vibes.

Jackpot Summer – Elyssa Friedland (June 11th)

Jackpot Summer is about four siblings who win the lottery and expect their lives to become easy and perfect. Of course, this doesn’t happen over night. I have a feeling this story will get emotional and messy, but those are the kinds of stories I love.

Love Unwritten – Lauren Asher (June 18th)

Love Redesigned was the first book in this series and I loved it! The book was over 500 pages and didn’t feel like that at all. Love Unwritten is Rafael’s story. We met him in the first book and I’ve been anxiously awaiting his story.

Honey Cut – Sierra Simone (June 18th)

Sierra Simone is an author that tends to be hit or miss for me, but Salt Kiss was such a pleasant surprise. I have a feeling the romance is going to get very messy between these three characters, but I’m very intrigued.

Hearts That Cut – Kika Hatzopoulou (June 18th)

A couple of months ago I read Threads That Bind and even though it took me a book to get pulled into the story, I ended up loving that book. The ending definitely left me wanting more and need to know how Io’s story will continue.

The Art of Catching Feelings – Alicia Thompson (June 18th)

This one sounds really cute! I love sports and I’m always looking for a good sports romance. While I don’t love the miscommunication aspect of this one, I do think it could be a really fun and cute story.

One-Star Romance – Laura Hankin (June 18th)

The first two sentences of the synopsis for One-Star Romance had me hooked. Can you imagine being an author and have to walk down the aisle at your best friend’s wedding with the man who gave your book a 1 star rating publicly. I’m hoping this book makes me laugh out loud and leaves a smile on my face when I read the final page.

A Thousand Broken Pieces – Tillie Cole (June 20th)

This is the sequel to A Thousand Boy Kisses and I’m honestly not sure if my heart is ready for it, haha. Grief is going to play a big part in this one, but I’m hoping it’s not as heartbreaking as the first book.

Love Letters to a Serial Killer – Tasha Coryell (June 25th)

This title alone has me excited for this release! I love listening to true crime podcasts and I’m always wondering what goes on in the mind of someone who starts writing (love)letters to a serial killer. This one could be so good, I have high hopes.

A Novel Love Story – Ashley Poston (June 25th)

This premise sounds so cute and fun, the main character gets trapped in the town of her favorite bookseries. And she thinks she needs to help the town get to the happy ending. I can’t wait to see what happens and how it will all end.

Tangled Up in You – Christina Lauren (June 25th)

Tangled Up in You is the fourth book in the Meant to Be series. Every book is written by a different author and is a retelling. This one is a Rapunzel retelling and I can’t wait. I’ve only read the first book so far, but plan to read the other two really soon.

So those are the books we’re excited about! Do we have any in common? Or did we miss any you think we need to know about? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
