We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is books I was super excited to get my hands on, but still haven’t read. I’m really good at doing this, so I know I have quite a few options for this week’s post. Let’s take a look!
A Thousand Miles – Bridget Morrissey
I ordered A Thousand Miles right after I was done reading That Summer Feeling by this author. I loved the author’s writing and that story and figured this road trip romance would be right up my alley. It’s almost a year later and I still haven’t read it, but I couldn’t tell you why. The summer is approaching, so hopefully I’ll pick it up soon.
This Could Be Us – Kennedy Ryan
Before I Let Go was such an emotional romance, but I couldn’t put it down. We meet Soledad in that book and I had a feeling we would be getting her story. I think part of me is saving This Could Be Us, because I know it’s going to be amazing. When I do read it, I’m going to be upset with myself for waiting so long, haha.
Magnolia Parks – Jessa Hastings
Magnolia Parks is a book that I remember seeing everywhere right around the time I purchased it. I know it’s described as British Gossip Girl and that there’s a lot of drama and not a lot of plot. This is the kind of book you either love or hate and I’m afraid to see where I end up being in the love or hate team.
Binding 13 – Chloe Walsh
Binding 13 is another one of those books I’ve seen so many times and see people raving about. That being said this book is over 800 pages. So I’m pretty sure that’s what has been stopping me from reading it. I currently own the 5 books now out in this series, so I really should start reading the first book.
A Fate Inked in Blood – Danielle L. Jensen
A Fate Inked in Blood is one I’ve had on multiple TBRs since I got an eARC of this one. Also, after seeing how stunning the first print of this book was, I had to pick up the hardcover. This Norse inspired fantasy romance sounds amazing and I have a feeling it’s going to leave me wanting the sequel.
The Fragile Threads of Power – V.E. Schwab
I remember being really happy I finished the Shades of Magic trilogy before The Fragile Threads of Power was out in the world. I did wait to get this book for Christmas instead of ordering it right away. At that time I was also distracted by a lot of other books. This one will be made a priority soon.
Midnight Kisses – Jeanine Bennedict
As a sports romance fan, Midnight Kisses is one that sounds right up my alley. It also has playlists and text messages I believe. This one is a little over 500 pages, so that’s probably why I haven’t picked it up. I am trying to get to my bigger books more.
Charm – Tracy Wolff
I devoured the first four books in the Crave series and when I finally got Charm last year I was really excited. Part of me is still debating if I’m going to reread or dive right into this one. I really want to finish this series soon, because the first book in the new spin off series is out now.
Electric Idol – Katee Robert
Neon Gods is a book I debated quite some time about reading. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be for me, because it was a really hyped romance. It’s safe to say now that I loved that book!! Electric Idol is the next book and I guess I’ve been saving this one for a rainy day.
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow – Gabrielle Zevin
When this book was released it was everywhere!! I tend to avoid really hyped books, but Tomorrown, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is one that I’m still really curious about. I finally found a floppy paperback of this one and it’s another book I need to make a priority soon.
So here are ten books I couldn’t wait to get my hands on, but haven’t read yet. Do we have any in common? If not, what books are on your list this week? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
Same! I could have made a Top 1000 list with this topic. Glad I’m not alone ????
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
