It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

What did you recently finish reading?

Love Redesigned – Lauren Asher

Love Redesigned is a 500+ page romance and I binged this in an evening while physically reading the book and listening along to the audiobook. Dahlia and Julian were both amazing characters and they needed the other for different reasons. Their story was amazing to read and I loved the meddling family. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Tress of the Emerald Sea – Brandon Sanderson

Tress of the Emerald Sea was my in person book club pick for February and I enjoyed it so much! The way this story is told was so whimsical and I enjoyed Tress as a character. I loved that this book had such short chapters, because it made me feel like I was flying through it.

What are you currently reading?

The Scarlet Alchemist – Kylie Lee Baker

At the moment I’m doing a buddy read of The Scarlet Alchemist and loving every minute of it. The world and magic is really interesting. There have already been some twists and reveals I didn’t see coming and I really have no clue how this is going to play out. Zilan is an amazing main character and I hope she succeeds and shows everyone what she can do.

Bride – Ali Hazelwood

At the moment I’m always halfway through Bride and I’m loving every minute of it. The idea of an alpha werewolf and vampyre marrying each other for an alliance is interesting. As we read this story, I love that our main character is realizing not everything is as it seems.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Belladonna – Adalyn Grace

Belladonna released in August 2022 and I still haven’t read it yet. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things and I’m excited to see what it’s all about. All I know is that our main character makes a deal with Death himself.

If I Have to Be Haunted – Miranda Sun

If I have to Be Haunted will be the start of another buddy read. I’m loving being able to tackle my TBR and chatting with others as we read. Our main character is a teenage Chinese American ghost speaker who makes a deal to raise her nemesis from the dead. That’s going to get interesting!
