So we’re in the last week of October, and that means it’s time to take a look at the books releasing in November that we’re excited about. This will probably be the last bigger list of 2023, because not many books release in December. So let’s take a look at our most anticipated November releases.
Iron Flame – Rebecca Yarros (November 7th)
Fourth Wing seemed to be everywhere this year and we’re incredibly lucky to already get the sequel! I’ve seen so many positive reviews for Fourth Wing so the expectations for Iron Flame are sky high.
Bookshops & Bonedust – Travis Baldree (November 7th)
Another popular release was Legends & Lattes. And that book is getting a prequel next month! This is another cozy fantasy and takes place in a bookshop. Sign us up!!
Check & Mate – Ali Hazelwood (November 7th)
So far I’ve loved all of the adult romances that Ali Hazelwood has written. Check & Mate is her first young adult book. Life brings to rival chess players together. I have a feeling this is going to be an interesting read.
The Way I Am Now – Amber Smith (November 7th)
So I normally don’t add sequels to our most anticipated releases list, but I just have a feeling I’m going to love The Way I Used to Be so much, that I’m going to want the sequel as soon as I’m done reading it. Which means I’ll be reading the first book in the near future.
Love Redesigned – Lauren Asher (November 7th)
After finishing the Dreamland Billionaire series, Lauren Asher is back with a new series of billionaire romances. Love Redesigned is a small town romance about two family friends turned childhood rivals. This book is over 500 pages and I’m very intrigued.
Do Your Worst – Rosie Danan (November 14th)
The synopsis mentions an occult expert and a disgraced archeologist who become enemies-with-benefits. That’s basically all I needed to know! It also takes place in and around a Scottish castle, how cool is that setting?
Saga vol. 11 – Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples
Last year Saga finally returned from it’s hiatus and I couldn’t been happier. This year we get the next volume! I still very much enjoy this series and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
Betting On You – Lynn Painter (November 28th)
Lynn Painter is one of my favorite authors and all I need to know is that she has written a book. Betting On You is her next release and I have an eARC (which I’ll be reading very soon). Our main characters have different opinions on people of the opposite sex being able to just be friends. I’m so excited to sit down with this book!
The Kingdom of Sweets – Erika Johansen (November 28th)
This is a darkly magical take on the Nutcracker! That is not a retelling I have read before but I’m definitely interested. As a ballet girly I have seen the Nutcracker multiple times and I’m super excited to see what the author does with the story.
So here are the books we’re excited about! Do we have any in common? Or are we missing any books you think everyone needs to know about? Let us know in the comments! We’d love to hear from you.
Bookshops and Bonedust was so good and I can’t wait for Iron Flame!
