WWW Wednesday #40

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you recently finish reading?

Aurora’s End – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

I finally read the last book in The Aurora Cycle! It was an intense ride that had me tearing up a few times. Aurora’s End was a great ending to this trilogy and I’m going to miss these characters.

Minx – Sophie Lark

Minx was definitely something I’ve never read before. This is Sophie Lark’s newest book and I want to read more by her this year. It took me a bit to really get sucked into this book, but once I did I couldn’t put it down. Blake and Ramses are amazing characters that both deserve a happily ever after.

Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone – Benjamin Stevenson

Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone was told in a different way than I’m used to, but I loved how the story was told to the reader. I will say this isn’t a book for everyone, but I enjoyed it. Even though the author tells us just about everything, I still didn’t see some of the twists coming.

What are you currently reading?

Playing for Keeps – Tristen Crone

I’m always up for reading books by debut authors and Playing for Keeps sounded so good and so far I’m loving it as much as I expected. Our main character loves board games and I love how it’s incorporated into the story. I’ve been reading a chapter here and there, but I know once I can really sit down and read it, I’ll fly through the story.

The Grimoire of Grave Fates – Created by Hanna Alkaf and Margaret Own

The Grimoire of Grave Fates is fantasy mystery and written by eighteen authors. The concept is really interesting, but I’m having a hard time really getting into the story. I’m still seeing where it goes and hopefully it hooks me soon.

Last Chance Books -Kelsey Rodkey

I’m a big fan of books about books or characters that work with or love books. Last Chance Books has our main character trying to figure out a way to save her family’s bookstore. A chain store across the street isn’t making matters any easier and to make matters work a guy who works there is trying to steal some of her ideas. I’m not that far yet, but I can’t wait to see how it plays out.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Solitaire – Alice Oseman

Heartstopper is an amazing series and I was really excited when I found out Solitaire was about Tori. She’s Charlie’s sister and I love her character in Heartstopper and I’m excited to get her story. Hopefully I love it just as much.

Long Shot – Kennedy Ryan

Since I read Before I Let Go earlier this year, I’ve been wanting to read more by Kennedy Ryan. Long Shot appears to be a pretty emotional sports romance, but I’m excited  to finally sit down and read it.

Terms and Conditions – Lauren Asher

I read The Fine Print right before Terms and Conditions released in February 2022. This is a book I’ve had in my hands to read so many times, but keep reading something else. Lately Terms and Conditions has been calling to me and it’s time to finally read this marriage of convenience romance.

So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! Have you read any of these? Or what are you currently reading? Love anything recently? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
