Wishlist Wednesday| Anticipated Releases March 2023

How is it almost March already? We sound like broken records, but time does seem to go fast. March is both of our birthday months, so are there any books releasing for us this month we could get as birthday presents? Keep on reading to see what are March 2023 anticipated releases are.

The Foxglove King – Hannah Whitten (March 7th)

I don’t really get the synopsis but I see a lot of things that peak my interest! There’s death magic, politics at the King’s Court and a group of warrior-monks. I’ve seen reviews on either end of the spectrum and I’m curious to see where I fall.

The Jump – Brittney Morris (March 7th)

I love Brittney Morris’ Slay so much and I’m excited for her newest release. This one has a dangerous scavenger hunt, something I love reading about.  It’s a pretty short book, less than 300 pages, so I’m sure it’ll be a very fast read.

Missing Clarissa – Ripley Jones (March 7th)

I’ve been enjoying YA thrillers, so when I saw Missing Clarissa was described as a book for fans of Sadie and A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder I was intrigued. I love the idea of the main characters starting a true crime podcast. The only problem may be they helped a killer by doing so.

My Dear Henry – Kalynn Bayron (March 7th)

A gothic Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde retelling? Yes, please! A teen boy tries to discover the mystery of his friend’s disappearance.

Frontier – Grace Curtis (March 9th)

I’ll just share the first part of the synopsis; Saints and preachers, librarians and horse thieves, lawmakers and lawbreakers, and a crash-surviving spaceborn vagrant searching for her lover on a scarred Earth. Enough said right?

Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers – Jesse Q. Sutanto (March 14th)

I’ve talked about this one before, it sounds like a really fun read and I love that the MC is a grandma. Since this is almost releasing, I’ve finally started reading Jesse’s Aunties series. So far it’s fun, and I’m hoping this one will be as well.

The Love Wager – Lynn Painter (March 14th)

Lynn Painter writes amazing YA and adult romances and I’m so excited about The Love Wager!! Our two main characters make a wager about who finds love first, but we all know they’re going to end up together. I can’t wait to read this story. It releases when I’m on vacation and I can’t wait to dive in.

Chaos & Flame – Tessa Gratton & Justina Ireland (March 28th)

I have a couple of Tessa Gratton books on my TBR but I need to add this one as well. This is the start of a YA fantasy duology. It has dragons, enemies to lovers, and according to the reviews a great magic system. Sign me up!

Girl Forgotten – April Henry (March 28th)

Another YA thriller with a main character that has a true crime podcast. She’s investigating an seventeen-year-old cold case and starts getting threats as she’s digging things up. I’m definitely intrigued.

So these are the books we’re looking forward to in March! What books are you looking forward to? Did we miss any releases you think everyone needs to know about? Let us know in the comments! We’d love to hear from you.
