WWW Wednesday #29

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you recently finish?

Maggie Moves On – Lucy Score

Maggie Moves On was my last book of 22 and my first Lucy Score book! I’m normally not a fan of instalove, but Silas’ determination that they were going to be together from the start was really sweet. My full review will be online tomorrow, so keep an eye out for my thoughts.

Legends & Lattes – Travis Baldree

I’ve heard so many great things about this cozy fantasy book and it definitely lived up to the hype. Legends & Lattes is a fast and fun read and I really hope this author writes a lot more books.

A Kingdom of Stars and Shadows – Holly Renee

A Kingdom of Stars and Shadows was such a pleasant surprise. The magic, politics, world building, romance, and even the twists were really good. I definitely need to read the second book soon. I believe the third one releases early this year, so I need to catch up!

What are you currently reading?

Stolen Heir – Sophie Lark

After loving Brutal Prince I had to continue with the series. As I’m typing this I’m just about done with Stolen Heir. I think I have about an hour left. I wasn’t sure how Nessa and Miko’s story would play out, but it’s so good!

Recursion – Blake Crouch

I’m only a few pages in with Recursion right now, so I don’t have much to tell you yet. This is the first read I’m doing for an in person book club. We’re meeting up this weekend and I’m excited! Hopefully I love the book.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Take a Bow, Noah Mitchell – Tobias Madden

Take a Bow, Noah Mitchell is going to be my first audiobook of this year. Our main character is a gamer and meets someone online. I’m not a gamer, but I love stories like this.

Exes and O’s – Amy Lea

After loving Set on You, I’ve been really excited about starting Exes and O’s. The main character is a bookstagrammer and I love stories with characters that love books. I have a feeling this is going to be a favorite of 2023!

So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What book did you start 2023 with? Something amazing I hope! Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you!
