It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What did you recently finish?
Blood Like Fate – Liselle Sambury
Blood Like Fate is the final book in this duology and I couldn’t put it down. There are family secrets, a main character trying to find her way in a new role, and plenty of twists and turns. I love how everything played out and how the story was wrapped up.
Two Wrongs Make a Right – Chloe Liese
Two Wrongs Make a Right was a most anticipated release of mine and I’m so glad to say that this didn’t disappoint! Bea and Jamie were such amazing characters and this book made me smile often. I read an e-arc of this one, but I know I’ll be adding the physical copy to my shelf to reread and annotate.
Meet Me Under the Mistletoe – Jenny Bayliss
After loving The Twelve Dates of Christmas last year I was really excited to read Meet Me Under the Mistletoe. Unfortunately, this one didn’t love up to my expectations. I loved the setting and Isaac, but the third act break up kind of disappointed me and didn’t feel completely necessary.
What are you currently reading?
Problem Child – Heather Long
Problem child is a book I stumbled upon when a teaser was shared in a book group on Facebook. I love books that take place at any kind of school and this is a why choose romance. Something I’ve really started to love this year. I’m only a few chapters in, but I’m enjoying it so far.
Lovelight Farms – B.K. Borison
I saw Lovelight Farms everywhere last year, so I thought this holiday season I really needed to read it myself. I mean it’s friends to lovers and takes place at a Christmas tree farm. Sounds perfect to me! I’m also not really far with this one, but I’m enjoying it so far.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Carrie Soto is Back – Taylor Jenkins Reid
Carrie Soto is Back is a book I’ve wanted to read since I heard about it, but keep putting off. Our main character is a tennis player coming out of retirement. Apparently we met Carrie in Malibu Rising. Taylor Jenkins Reid is a favorite author of mine, so hopefully I love it as much as I think I will.
Witcha Gonna Do? – Avery Flynn
Witcha Gonna Do? releases next week and I’m excited to have an e-arc of this witchy book. The publisher invited me to be a part of this blog tour next week and I couldn’t say no. This seems to be an enemies to lovers story and about a witch that accidentally curses her family. I have a feeling Witcha Gonna Do? is going to be a lot of fun! Keep an eye out for my review next week.
So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! Have you read anything amazing lately? Or what do you plan on picking up next? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
I want to read so many of those books!
Have a great week!
