We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

It’s officially summer and we’ve had a few hot days. I’m not one who likes heat, so I’ll definitely be counting down the days until fall. Besides working and being busy I had a fun weekend last weekend. Good friends of ours wanted to celebrate their wedding anniversary by doing something fun with our group of friends that get together monthly for a game night.

First we did and escape room. It was my first one and we had to escape an engine room. Escape rooms are definitely something I want to do again. I had such a good time. We ended up escaping before our hour was up! After that we want back to their house and played a couple of games before going out to dinner in the evening. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and amazing food. This mud pie was definitely chocolate heaven.

I’ve added a few new e-arcs to my Kindle since my last Royal Update.

Since my last Royal Update I finished: Ever After Always, With You Forever, I Kissed Shara Wheeler, Everything For You, and Girl in Pieces.

I’m currently reading: Nyxia, Book Lovers, Flash Fire, Island Time and Ugly Truths.

This week I’ll be reading: The Dead Romantics and The Newlywed Game.

Nothing to add to my shopping log this week! I haven’t bought anything recently.

I’m loving Ms. Marvel! If I’m honest I think it’s my favorite Marvel show on Disney+ so far. It’s sad there are only a few more episodes before it’s over.

Also, we have a family movie night on Sunday and the last movie we watched was Father Stu. It was based on a true story and it was really good.

Calum Scott is an artist I really enjoy and he just released his new album: Bridges. So I’ve been listening to that on repeat this last week.
