Can’t Wait Wednesday | Blessed Monsters – Emily A. Duncan

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

The startling conclusion to the instant New York Timesbestselling Something Dark and Holy trilogy

The girl, the monster, the prince, the queen.

They broke the world.

And some things can never be undone.

In Emily A. Duncan’s Blessed Monsters, they must unite once more to fight the dark chaos they’ve unleashed—but is it already too late?

Firstly I want to say that I love this synopsis! It gives hardly anything away so you don’t get any spoilers for things that don’t happen until you’re halfway through the book. I hate that so much! This is the third and final book in the series so I don’t think a synopsis is going to determine whether readers will pick it up. The first two books will have determined whether you want to know how it ends or not ;).

I had eARC’s for this first two books in this series and you can bet I want to know what happens. They both made it unto my favorite lists the past two years. I especially like the characters but I also really enjoy this dark and grim world. The second book started a bit slow but that ending was so worth everything leading up to it. I honestly can’t wait for the next book. You know I will be reading it as soon as it becomes available.

Have you read the first two books in this series? And are you just as excited as I am for Blessed Monsters?! Let me know in the comments!
