We’ve been enjoying talking about all of our 2020 favorites. We both read a lot of amazing books, but we also wanted to take time and talk about our 2020 favorite covers. There were so many stunning covers out there they need to get some attention as well. Keep on reading to find out more about our favorites!

Instead of talking about every single cover I’ll just talk about what I loved about covers in 2020. These 10 are just a few of the amazing covers I saw last year and really loved. It seems we’re getting really colorful and diverse book covers and I’m so excited about the trend of the illustrated people instead of models. I’ve said before that I’m not a big fan of people on covers, but when done like this I won’t complain. Here’s to 2021 and more amazing books and stunning covers!

I decided to pick all different covers than Candyce did so we could showcase as many beautiful covers as possible! There doesn’t really seem to be any rhyme or reason to my picks haha. I will say I usually like the pretty simple but still stunning covers. Get me a good illustration and I’m sold! Like Candyce said, we are getting more diverse covers and they are gorgeous. It was hard only picking 10 covers because there are so many good ones out there. I can’t wait for all the 2021 covers <3.
So these are 2020 covers we fell in love with! What are some covers that you love? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you.
I love the colours of House in the Cerulean Sea. One of my favourite covers of 2020 had to be The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow.
I agree with you Candyce and Isabelle. The trend of the illustrated covers is wonderful! Legendborne was my favorite cover of 2020. It is just remarkable in its intensity.
Happy to have found a likeminded soul 😉
Legendborn is definitely gorgeous! We both have it on our TBR’s
