It’s Thursday and time for another tag. I’ve been tagged in quite a few lately, but decided to start off with Ten Bookish Questions. I was tagged by Fiona at Fi’s Bibliofiles. This tag was originally created by A Books Neverland. Let’s take a look at these ten questions!
How many books do you currently own?
I actually only recently counted my physical books. If I’m honest, I was actually surprised by how many books I actually own. Without including my digital collection of books on my Kindle, I own 569 physical books. I’m really proud of my little library, but I need more shelves, haha.
How many books are you currently reading?
There’s never a moment I’m only reading just one books. At the moment I’m reading Shielded, The Diviners, Wicked, Quarter Miles and B*Witch! So that’s a total of five books. I’ve been up to nine before, so this is nothing!
Choose a couple of books you read but didn’t enjoy?
I’m lucky that I know my taste of books pretty well. Unfortunately, sometimes a book just isn’t for me. Confessions of a Bookaholic is one of my most recent disappointments. I started reading You Deserve Each Other, because I heard about it being so amazing. I’m 39% into the story and have actually stopped reading. I’m still debating if I should continue. The main character is really annoying me. I’ve heard that I should push through though. If you’ve read this book, I’d love your opinion!
A cover buy?
There are so many gorgeous covers these days and it’s happened quite a few times that I buy a book for the cover. One of the books I’ve bought for this reason is The Binding by Bridget Collins. Look at how stunning the cover is under the dust jacket. I really need to read this soon.
A book you own but hate the cover of?
I don’t own this particular book yet, but I will this Fall. The Origin series by Jennifer L. Armentrout started off with two amazing covers. A few months before the release of the third book the series got a cover change. I’m not happy with this change at all!
A book you haven’t read in years?
Speaking of Jennifer L. Armentrout, I haven’t done a reread of her LUX series in over five years. This is my favorite series by her and I really want to read them all again. Maybe I’ll have to do that later this year. I’ve been saying I’ll do this for ages, haha.
A book you will always recommend?
Ever since I read The Exact Opposite of Okay, it’s the book I’ll always recommend. There are a lot of other books that come to mind as well, but this was the first to come to mine. This book left a big impression behind!
All time favourite book series?
My all time favorite is one that’s come to be hard to talk about online after things the author has done, so this time around I will talk about one of my other all time favorites. If you’ve been following the blog you’ll already know this. Throne of Glass is another amazing series. Isabelle and I wouldn’t have started this blog without these books!
Where do you read?
I can read anywhere to be honest. On the days I work I read on the train. If I’m home it’s either curled up on the couch or in bed where I get most of my reading done.
What are the last two books you gave a 5 star rating?
The last two books I gave a five star rating two are You Should See Me in a Crown and My Calamity Jane. These are totally different books, but I recommend them both!
These ten bookish questions were a lot of fun to answer! I’m going to tag anybody that wants to answer these questions. Definitely let me know if you end up doing this one. What was your last 5 star rating?
