Royal Update #31

We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The last two weeks have been mostly about my exams and assignments. So nothing exciting there haha. Unfortunately I did not keep up with my exercising but I do plan on getting back to it this week. It was a great feeling to be exercising that much and I already miss it. Hopefully I can make it a part of my daily routine.

Last weekend I did have an exciting weekend! A friend and I went to Amsterdam for the weekend. We decided to be tourists in our own country and it was great. Friday we went for a great meal and amazing drinks in a really fun place. Saturday was all about shopping and good food (and being rained on over and over and over). And Sunday was for visiting a museum, the Rijksmuseum to be exact. Unfortunately I took hardly any pictures but you’ll just have to take my word for it haha.

I’m proud to say I haven’t gotten any new ARC’s. It’s time to read the ones I still have left unread 😉 haha.

Since my last Royal Update, I’ve only finished reading An Unkindness of Magicians. I was so busy with my exams so I haven’t been reading that much. But I did just start a buddyread with Candyce. We’re are finally reading My Calamity Jane and I’m so excited about that! At this moment I’m also reading The Damned. I’m not sure what I’ll be reading next but I’m happy to be back to reading <3.

There have been A LOT of cover reveals, so get ready haha.

Since I went to Amsterdam last weekend I did actually buy some things haha. I bought a couple of books but I will save those for the bookhaul, I will tell you I have at least one very beautiful book! And I bought a dress, a skirt, a top and finally bought my Doc. Martens!

Last weekend there was a livestream by the Teen Wolf cast to raise money for charity. And of course I had to watch that as a big Teen Wolf fan <3. It was so lovely seeing the cast talk about the show and it brought back amazing memories. So I decided to just watch the first episode again, and maybe the next… We all know how that goes right haha. So by now I’m almost done with the third (my favorite) season and will probably watch the whole show before I will watch anything else again.

You might know I love listening to podcasts, especially true crime ones. I had Moms and Murder on my list to listen to for awhile now and I finally started it! It’s really fun listening to these two moms and they covered some stories I never heard of before. So I will for sure continue listening to their podcast.
