We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
These past two weeks were once again not too exciting. Normal schedule as usual! I did come home to a surprise on Valentine’s though. My boyfriend surprised me with a card, rose and chocolates and that was very sweet!
Yesterday was our monthly game night and I enjoyed myself. At first, I wasn’t really in the mood to play anything. They decided to play Zombicide and I gave it go. It was actually really a lot of fun! It didn’t seem like we would win, but we did.
After the game, a friend and I moved over to the couch and decided to watch Moana! I will never get sick of watching Disney movies.
Since my last two royal updates, I’ve added three ARCs to my collection. Two are books I signed up for awhile ago and the second one is from a review team I’m on!
Always Yours is the second book in this duet to find out what happens with Maddie and Liam. Even though some things really annoyed me and were kind of predictable, I do need to know how everything plays out with this couple!
Runaway Road is a new series by Devney Perry, but I’ve been really enjoying her work. This sounds like a book I’ll love! It releases on my birthday, so let’s hope it’s special!
And last, but not least is One Plus Two. This is the next book in the Maple Glen series. I love small town romances and these are always fast and fun reads. We got a little glimpse of this book in the previous one and it sounds like it’s going to be really good.
Since my last royal update I’ve finished: The Final Empire, The Power, The Lying Season, Vicious, P.S. I Still Love You, Doughn’t Let Me Go and Don’t Read the Comments.
Once again, I’m reading way too many books at once, haha. As we speak I’m reading Hunted, Sorcery of Thorns, Always Yours, Great and Precious Things, We Used to Be Friends, The Struggle, Elantris and I’m almost done with Tweet Cute.
Seeing how I’m reading so much as once, I don’t know how far I’ll get. I do really need to start Ashlords, The Devouring Gray and Vengeful though! Hopefully this week once I finish a couple I’m already reading. A few are buddyreads, so these will take a bit longer.
There has been a lot of bookish news lately! It’s never ending, haha. I have a few cover reveals, a title announcement and a few book announcements!
Okay, it hasn’t happened yet. I still haven’t gotten anything to add to this shopping log!
I haven’t really been watching anything new lately to talk about, but have been keeping up with the shows I already watch. I plan on catching up with This Is Us though. It’s an emotional show though, so I’ll make sure to have tissues!
My concert is a week away, so you’re definitely getting the Home Free playlist again, haha. I’m so excited and hope it’s as good as I think it will be!
That’s what I’ve been up to the past couple of weeks! How have you been? Reading anything interesting or do something fun? Let me know in the comments!
