Tag | The Festive Christmas Book Tag

It’s December so of course it’s time for a Christmas book tag! Today I have the Festive Christmas Book Tag for you all. I found this over at Jenniely’s blog and it was originally created by GirlReading. This is such a fun tag with all kinds of Christmas questions, so let’s just jump in!

1. A fictional family you would like to spend Christmas dinner with?

Is there any other answer than the Weasley family? I’m currently once again listening to the Harry Potter audiobooks and I love the Weasley’s so much. They are funny, kind, loyal, caring, badass, and just all around amazing. How much fun would it be to eat Molly’s wonderful food, get a Weasley jumper, and possibly play some Quidditch.

2. A bookish item you would like to receive as a gift?

A Weasley jumper haha. But also the fourth Illustrated Harry Potter book, or any Harry Potter Funko. Yes, I’m completely emerged in the Wizarding World once again and it’s all I have on my mind haha.

3. A fictional character you think would make a perfect Christmas elf?

There is only one obvious answer, and yes I am going for it haha. Dobby would make a perfect Christmas elf! You all know he would love getting everyone presents and making sure everyone has a wonderful Christmas. And I would just love to see him again <3

4. Match a book to it’s perfect Christmas song.

This is such a fun question! But also super hard haha. After thinking for a while I decided to go with The Twelve Days of Dash and Lily. This book obviously matches perfectly with The Twelve Days of Christmas!

5. Bah Humbug. A book or fictional character you’ve been disappointed in and should be put on the naughty list?

Ashlin from Nevernight definitely should be put on the naughty list! I won’t say why because of spoilers haha. And since I haven’t read the rest of the series yet, this might change. But for now, she definitely deserves to be on the naughty list haha.

6. A book or a fictional character you think deserves more love and appreciation and deserve to be put on the nice list?

I don’t hear nearly enough people talk about Ronan from the Raven Cycle and now the Dreamers series. Even though he just got his own series, I still don’t see him mentioned that much. And he could use some more love and appreciation. So he’s on my nice list for sure <3

7. Red, Gold and Green. A book cover that has a wonderfully christmasy feel to it.

Another hard question! But after thinking long and hard I realized I had the perfect book. 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston is set during the Christmas holiday and has gold letters on a green background. And with a red Christmas sweater on the cover it totally screams Christmas!

8. A book or series you love so much, you want everyone to find under their Christmas tree this year so they can read it and love it too?

The Nevermoor series by Jessica Townsend! Of course I’m expecting everyone to already have the Harry Potter series haha. So to find a new and wonderful series to love is something everyone deserves. And the Nevermoor series have that Harry Potter feel while also being completely unique. I really enjoy this series and I can’t wait for to read the third book.

This was the Festive Christmas Book tag! What a fun tag to do! Who do you think deserves to be put on the naughty list? And who should be on the nice list? Come tell me in the comments!

    1. Thank you! The Weasleys are just the best haha. I actually bought a second hand Replay sweater because it had a big R on it and it looks a bit like a Weasley sweater haha. At some point I want the real deal, but they are EXPENSIVE!
