Can you believe it’s been a year since we started our blog? Because we sure can’t! We absolutely love our little spot on the world wide web. To celebrate this occasion we wanted to do something for the readers who have followed us along the way or even new ones that just discovered us!
We love books (duh, haha) and there are a few we really think more people need to read. So for this giveaway, the winner can choose one from the following books (if Amazon or Bookdepository will deliver to your country).
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas because that’s the series that brought us together and made this blog happen in the first place. Both of us are currently rereading this series as well and it reminded us why we fell in love with this world. We’ve noticed many people haven’t give it a try yet, so we thought this would be the perfect opportunity.
Emergence by S.G.D. Singh (can only be sent through Amazon) because it was one of the first books we got to review for the blog and it such a hidden gem. The author is so sweet and this trilogy deserves so much more attention than it’s gotten. We were both shocked that this trilogy doesn’t have more reviews yet. Fantasy lovers do not want to miss this series!
The Exact Opposite of Okay by Laura Steven, because this book has an amazing message. It really shows us what society is like these days and how unfair it is in many ways. On top of that look at that amazing cover! Laura Steven created a story that makes you laugh and cry. We both loved this book and are really looking forward to the second book next year. More people need to read this book!
After choosing one winner to pick a book, we will also be choosing a winner for six bookplates. We went to YALFest NL in April and the authors we wanted to meet sign our books. This means that the bookplates are just sitting on the shelf. We wanted to make another reader happy with these.

Our friend Kwante (that we talk about allll the time, haha) always has the most fun giveaways so we decided to take a page from her book and we hid a quote in the posts this week. At the end of the week you’ll have a scrambled quote and if you can make it into the correct quote you have a chance to win one of the above books or the bookplates.You will find the quote scrambled in images like this one below (which is also the start of the quote 😉 ). To enter the giveaway, we will need the quote, author and title of the book it comes from!
