We were looking for something to post on Sundays when we don’t have anything planned (which is the case a lot of the time lately, haha). Then I saw a post on Early Bookish Bird‘s blog and it seemed like the perfect fit. She started #howimetmybook .

In this post we tell the story behind our books. The following questions will be answered: Where did we get the book? Why did we pick it up? What made us pick it up in the first place?

Today I picked a bit I really can’t wait to read, but as everyone knows it’s hard to pick a book when there are so many you want to read. I ordered this one online and I think it’s a gorgeous hardcover. I have the complete trilogy, but seeing how I haven’t read any of them yet, I started off with the first one.

I decided to pick it up, because I was seeing it all over the place on Instagram. At the moment, I was pretty interested in superheroes and comics (still am), so this one seemed like an obvious buy. I like that the title of the trilogy is Lois Lane. This book sounds like it will be really good. Isabelle has the first one as well, so I hope we are able to do a buddyread this year!
