A friend of ours, Kwante, from Kwante in Wonderland created the Monthly Monday Book Shelfie. Every month there is a new topic. Continue reading to find out what the Monthly Monday Book Shelfie is and what to do if you want to participate!
This month’s theme is Valentine’s! It’s time to show you a book on our shelf that has a romantic cover or story. After you think of the book you want to use, you do the following:
- You take a book shelfie – the book you chose in front of the other books on your shelf.
After that you answer the following questions:
- Where did you get the book?
- Have you read the book yet?
- What did you think of the book? If you haven’t read the book yet, what do you expect?

For this month’s bookshelfie I chose Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven.
I ordered this book online from a website here in The Netherlands after a friend wouldn’t stop talking about how good it was, haha. I was pretty curious, so I had to see what it was about.
I read this book near the end of 2016. It was everything I expected it to be and so much more. I loved these characters and their journey together. I wanted to smack the characters at times, but I didn’t want it to end. I read the second and third book in the trilogy as well. These are definitely perfect books for the people who love romance and Valentine’s Day.

I chose To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before for this month’s bookshelfie. This is probably my favorite contemporary series and I was we would get more Lara Jean books <3 I absolutely adore her and the love interest is so so cute.
I got read the first book as an ebook but pre ordered the second book online when I was living in London. When Jenny Han came to the Netherlands I also bought the first book to get them both signed. I’m super happy with it although they are different editions so they don’t match unfortunately. Last May I got the third book in the trilogy right when it came out and I loved it so much. I need to reread this series soon <3
These are our picks for this month. We’ll be back next month with another Monthly Monday Book Shelfie. Are there any romantic stories you think we really need to read? We would love to hear about them.
