WWW #121

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you recently finish reading?

Wanted – Paisley Hope

Sometimes you just see a cover and know you need to read the book. I had this with Wanted and it was everything I wanted and then some. We get a great new small town, a family you want to be part of, a kind of forbidden romance, and some forced proximity. Wanted hit me in all the feels and I binged this so quickly! I can’t wait for the next book.

Riding the High – Paisley Hope

After seeing Cole in Wanted, it made me want to continue the Silver Pines series. I’m so glad I did! A friends to lovers romance always hits me in the right way and I couldn’t put this book down. Riding the High shows us sometimes a couple really is just meant to be. Riding the High is my favorite if the series so far.

What are you currently reading?

Student Union – Julie Murphy

Fake dating will get me every time and in this case it’s a marriage of convenience? Our main character needs housing before starting college. When things go wrong, she asks someone she never thought she’d see again. I love that it’s clear these two have a past, but it’s something we slowly learn about. Also, Bennett is supposed to be a player, but the little things he does to take care of her are really swoonworthy!

What do you think you’ll read next?

My Favorite Holidate – Lauren Blakely

It’s November and I’m craving everything Christmas! My Favorite Holidate has been on my TBR for a couple of years and it’s time. I believe we even have some fake dating in this one that I’m really excited about.

Half City – Kate Golden

Half City has been staring at me recently and after hearing nothing but amazing reviews about this and its sequel, I really need to read it. I know this gives Buffy the Vampire Slayer vibes for many people and I’m here for it!

So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
