Bookhaul | October 2026

We’re finally back online after having issues for the last three weeks! To start off again we’re coming back to you with our October bookhaul. Let’s take a look at what we added to our collections last month.

Candyce

In October I added 17 books to my shelves. My September Fairyloot books arrived after the end of the month, so those are three I should’ve had at the end of September. I still have to show you them of course! Let’s take a look at everything!

Hawk & Sparrow – Ayana Gray

The Fairyloot edition of Hawk & Sparrow screams autumn and I love how it looks. It honestly makes me want to pick it up right away. Mystery, magic, and romance? That sounds like everything I love in a book. I’m really hoping I love this one, because I want this edition to stay on my shelves.

The Sweetest Fiend – Raven Kennedy

After enjoying the first couple of books of The Plated Prisoner series, I was excited that Fairyloot decided to give us an edition of The Sweetest Fiend. I’m not familiar with the Pied Piper, but this story sounds amazing.

Immortal Rose – Alexandra Bracken

I’m actually currently reading Immortal Rose with a friend and we’re having a great time. Purple is my favorite color, so I was very happy with this edition. I also love the idea of magical perfume.

Student Union – Julie Murphy

The paperback of Student Union is so colorful and floppy! We get a marriage of convenience in this one and besides fake dating it’s my favorite trope. I can never say no to those romances!

For Whom the Belle Tolls – Jaysea Lynn

I actually wasn’t familiar with For Whom the Belle Tolls, but I recently saw that the sequel was added to Netgalley. So I decided to look it up. Our main character is drawn to Hell and I have a feeling it’s going to be an interesting ride.

Glow of the Everflame & Heat of the Everflame – Penn Cole

So I may have already owned Glow of the Everflame, but then I saw these pretty editions and they weren’t expensive. These are making me even more excited to continue the series. The final book doesn’t have this edition yet, but I’ll be keeping an eye out.

Sky Daddy – Kate Folk

Sky Daddy isn’t my usual type of book, but I can’t help but be intrigued. A girl in my Discord book club is interested in reading this, so we suggested it. I still need to sit down with this one. Our main character is sexually obsessed with planes. To be honest, I’m not sure how this is supposed to work.

The Sixth Faction – Veronica Roth

I read the Divergent series in 2011 and I will be honest, I’m still mad at the ending of that series, haha. It’s really interesting though that the author went back and kind of wrote a fan fiction and changed things? I’m so excited to read this after I finish my reread of Divergent.

With Hearts of Flame – Briar Boleyn

With Hearts of Flame is the last book in the Bloodwing Academy series. I still need to read the third book, but I wanted to make sure I had a matching set with these beautiful sprayed edges.

Under the Iron Sky – A.T. Emerald

Under the Iron Sky seems to have elements of a dystopian, sci-fi, and fantasy books. So far I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this book. It’s the start of a trilogy and I have a feeling it’s right up my alley.

Undone – Peyton Corinne

I’ve been waiting for this edition to be released and I’m so glad it finally is on my shelves. The first book in this series is one I had a great time with. With Undone finally on my shelves, I can continue the series. The fourth and final book just released, so I’m adding that to my Christmas wishlist.

A Court of Splintered Harmony – Sarah J. Maas

Throne of Glass is my all time favorite series and I’ll probably ended up reading anything Maas writes. A Court of Splintered Harmony is only the start, so while I know I should read this ASAP to avoid spoilers, I also want to wait for the next book in January? We’ll see what happens.

Cursed City – Kate Golden

After hearing nothing but amazing things about Half City, I wanted the sequel just in case I need more after the ending of the first book. I’ll be shocked if I don’t love this series.

Christmas Staycation – Meghan Quinn

Meghan Quinn is the author I go to for a pick me up and a good time. Christmas Staycation is the next in her holiday romance series and I’m so excited to curl up with this book. I think I may wait to read this when my Christmas tree is up!

Trust Fall – Lynn Painter

Lynn Painter is one of my auto-buy authors and I’ve loved her middle grade, YA, and adult releases. Trust Fall sounds like it’s going to be another amazing time.

Grim Tidings – B.K. Borison

A grim reaper and a guardian angel romance? Not a pairing I’d expect, but I’ve already read this book and it was amazing! Grim Tidings hit me in all the feels and then some. I definitely see myself rereading this one. I’m so glad that B.K. Borison announced that this series is going to have five books!

Isabelle

I got one new book in October. The last couple of months I have actually been adding to my collection again haha. It was a new release and I think no one is surprised that I got this one, let’s take a look.

A Court of Splintered Harmony – Sarah J. Maas

Like Candyce I would say Throne of Glass is my all time favorite series (it’s also how we met and started our blog), so I read everything by Sarah J. Maas. I couldn’t resist pre-ordering this one and I’m happy it got delivered on the publishing day!

So that’s our October bookhaul! Have you read any of these? Or what did you add to your shelves? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
