We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Life hasn’t been too busy here. Since my last Royal Update we had book club, I took a little trip wit my mom to pick up her staying permit, and I worked last weekend. The weather is finally starting to cool off with some rainy days, so I’m very ready for fall. I can also start counting down the days until my time off of work starts (only two and a half weeks to go).

I wasn’t expecting to have this many ARCs to talk about this week, but between some widgets, blog tours, and requests, there are quite a few (25, haha): Hawk & Sparrow (ALC), An Edge Sharp Enough, Don’t Fall, Kneel Before Me, The Haunted Librarian, The Point of It All, Rabbit Rabbit, Hexy Beast, This Shattered Tempest, The Light Between Wounds, Rising Thunder, Beautiful to See You, A Fall to Forgive You, Bad Idea, Right?, For the Love of K-Dramas, Dirty Magic, Here We Are at the End, Deadlock, Meet Cute Magic, The Sex Detective, I’ve Got You, Alistair Fall and the Restless Dead, The Dragon and the Dove, The Mad Widows, and How to Seduce a Dark Lord.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Accomplice to the Villain, Assassin’s Apprentice, Mate, The One I Left Behind, Fossil Feud, Yours for the Season, Accomplished, Save the Date, A Dance of Lies, and Accidentally Yours.

I’m currently reading: The Winged Game, Keeping Score, and Kiss Me Maybe.

Next I want to read: Wyatt, If Not for My Baby, The Arcane Arts, and Once and Again.

Don’t Say Good Luck was added to Netflix recently, so I chose that when it was my turn for movie night. It said it was a dramedy, but I wasn’t expecting for it to be as sad as it was. That being said, it was still a good movie.

Last weekend, I decided to start watching 7th Heaven. I started watching the last couple of seasons before we moved to The Netherlands, but I never saw it from the start. So that’s what I decided to do.

It’s been a good time for music. Alex Warren’s new album was released and I think it’s pretty good. I actually haven’t listened to much music recently.
