We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

The next book in the blockbuster Empyrean series, Threshing Day contains thirteen stories starring your favorite characters and their dragons.

There isn’t that much known about this book just yet. Even though it will be released at the end of September. We just know it will be 224 pages and it’s will have 13 stories. These stories are about characters we know (and love) and their dragons. Since the book is called Threshing Day, I’m assuming we’re getting the stories of how everyone bonded with their dragon.

I’m really excited for this release! It’s not the new Empyrean book, but I’m sure it will be some wonderful content. I’m excited to get POV’s we normally don’t get and I hope some of these stories will be a lot of fun. Unfortunately I also think we’re getting a Liam story, and that will probably be a heartbreaking one!

Another thing I’m not happy about is the fact that this gorgeous edition will only by available in the US and Canada. With shipping and taxes, I just know this will be an insane price for us Europeans unfortunately. So I guess I’ll just wait for a paperback version and until then I’m probably getting the ebook. I do definitely plan on reading this as soon as it releases, with it being short stories, I think we’ll fly through it in no time!
