We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The hot temperatures didn’t go away since my last Royal Update. I’m so over the summer, haha. It looks like starting this week it’s getting a little cooler. Hopefully it stays that way. Otherwise life has been pretty quiet. I got some earbuds to help me with some of the sleeping issues I’ve been having. So far they’ve been a life changer. Last weekend we did an escape room with friends! We made it out in 57 minutes and 54 seconds.

I’ve had another two weeks filled with some fun ARC approvals: Wanted, This Wretched Alchemy (ALC), You Made Me Do This, Come Away with Me, Always One More Time, Romantasyland, How to Write a Murder, Crown of Crimson & Crows, Him & I, Bodies of Magic (ALC), and The Wretched Divine.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Chase Me If You Can, The Compound, The Twelve Loves of Christmas, Everything was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt, A Condition Called Love Vol. 14, Sidecar Crush, Kiss of the Basilisk, Ruinous Ends, In Stormy Weather, Power Play, and Long Story Short.

I’m currently reading: Accomplice to the Villain, Keeping Score, and Assassin’s Apprentice.

Next I’m hoping to read: Fossil Feud, Mate, and You’ll Be the Death of Me.

For a recent movie night we watched the newest Scary Movie. It was a fun time and some of the jokes felt very fitting for the world at this moment.

The fiancé and I are still watching the second season of Smallville and I’m having a good time.

Again, I haven’t been listening to a lot of music. This last week I’ve been sleeping with ear buds and having music play until I fall asleep. This time it’s been Kelly Clarkson’s playlist.
