I will be going on a vacation this weekend and of course I need to bring books! I’ll be gone a little less than 2 weeks and obviously I’m bringing my ereader. But I will also want to bring a couple of physical books, so let’s take a look at the books I plan on bringing with me!

The Inn at the Foot of Mount Vengeance – Chiara Bullen

This is one of my most recent purchases and I’m really excited about it. I already started reading it a little bit and it started off great! While I haven’t heard much about this one, I have high hopes and I definitely plan on reading it on my trip.

Whatever Happened To Madeline Stone – Louise O’Neill

My other recent purchase; I have read and loved a Louise O’Neill book before and I’m really curious about this one. That previous book broke me though and I had to wake up my flatmate in the middle of the night because I was sobbing about it haha. I hope this one it a little less daunting, but at the same time I hope for a somewhat similar experience.

Apprentice to the Villain – Hannah Nicole Maehrer

I got this book almost 2 years ago and I can’t believe I still haven’t read it. It’s been exactly 2 years since I read the first book in this series and I loved it a lot, I laughed out loud so much. I hope to read this in the shadows next to the pool, while I’m laughing out loud once again!

Bloodwitch – Susan Dennard

Will this be the time? After writing about this book in a recent post I just had to try again. I really enjoyed the first 2 books in the series and I have high hopes for this one. It would also be great to just finally finish this book and read the rest of the series.
