In my last Can’t Wait Wednesday post I talked about a new Laura Steven book and today I’m back doing practically the same thing haha. L.K. Steven is one of Laura Steven’s pen names and I’m really impressed she releases 2 books a year for at least 2 years in a row now! And these are not small books, Turncloak will be 544 pages. That’s almost a 100 pages more than Silvercloak, the first book in this saga.
Like I said, I’m really excited for this release. I enjoyed Silvercloak a lot and after the twists at the end I immediately wanted to read this sequel. For me the characters were very enjoyable and I loved the magic system. I wish more readers found this book and were hyped for the sequel. But there is still time! Turncloak releases September 15th, so if you start reading Silvercloak now, you’ll be ready just in time.
I don’t want to read too much about Turncloak and I haven’t really read the synopsis. Since I’m already interested in this release, I don’t want to know what will happen. I do know we’ll get a new character with this one and I’m curious to see what that dynamic is going to be like. All in all, I’m just really excited for this release!
