We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

We’re still trying to find our way back to normal after everything. Last weekend we were supposed to have game night at our friends’ house, but we arranged for it to be here instead. That was a great distraction and we had fun. Other than that we’ve had quite a few appointments. We’re hoping everything is going to stay calm now.

Since my last Royal Update I added another 14 eARCs/ALCs to my TBR. I’ve really been blessed with some amazing approvals: The Heirs (ALC), The Fake Divination Offense (ALC), Once Again Always, Experiments in Offline Dating, Vengefully Matched, Now That We Don’t Talk, The Treasure House, Just Like a Dream, (Mostly) Human Resources, You’re the One That I Haunt, Please Don’t Go, Til Quest Do Us Part, The Friendsgiving Pact, and Sinister.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 Vol. 6, First and Forever, Mad Mabel, Happy Ending, and Conform.

I’m currently reading: The Second Death of Locke, Wild Reverence, Burnout, and What We Did to Survive.

Next I’d love to read: Beneath, The Fake Dating Offensive, and Please Don’t Go.

We watched the reboot of Scrubs and it was great to be back with all of those characters. I’m sad we only got 9 episodes. Last weekend we watched Rock Band during our movie night. It was a fun movie. I was surprised it’s one I’ve never heard of before.

Meghan Trainor’s newest album released last Friday and I decided to give it a listen. I had a great time with it and will be listening some more.
