Another new month and that means a new TBR. I really have been enjoying mood reading lately, but I still love talking about the books on my radar I really want to read soon. So let’s take a look at my April TBR/hopefuls.
Group Reads

Mother of Death & Dawn – Carissa Broadbent
My series slayers group is finishing up The World of Lost Hearts series this month. It hasn’t impressed me like I had expected, but I’m still having a great time. After the second book, I’m curious to see how it’ll all wrap up!
eARCs

Happy Ending – Chloe Liese
Chloe Liese wrote one of my favorite romance series (Bergman Brothers) and I’ll read anything she writes. Happy Ending is a romance where two best friends end up fake dating. You know that’s going to be an interesting time.

We Burned So Bright – TJ Klune
TJ Klune is an author that always knows how to hit me in the feels and I have a feeling that We Burned So Bright is going to hit hard. An older queer couple is on an end-of-the-world roadtrip because a black hole will destroy the world as we know it.
Physical Books/Backlist TBR

Story of My Life – Lucy Score
Even though I’m still waiting for my pre-order of Mistakes Were Made to arrive, it really is time for me to read Story of My Life. I love small town stories and I hear nothing but good things about this one.

Great Big Beautiful Life – Emily Henry
Great Big Beautiful Life was one of my most anticipated releases of 2025 and I still haven’t read it. This one has had some mixed reviews, but it still really appeals to me. I’ll be caught up with Emily Henry’s adult romances when I finish this one.

Lady of Darkness – Melissa K. Roehrich
It’s finally time for me to start the Lady of Darkness series. I have a feeling I’m going to love this story and I believe they’re all big books, haha. Let’s see if I can binge them.
So here are some books I’m hoping to read in April. Have you read any of these? Or what’s on your TBR? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
