We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Book Titles Featuring Ordinal Numbers. I don’t have any book titles that come to mind right away, so I’m curious to see what books I have read or have on my TBR with ordinal numbers in the title. In Dutch ‘last’ and ‘final’ also count as ordinal numbers, so I included those as well. Let’s dive in!

1. The Last Wish – Andrzej Sapkowski
This is the first book in the Witcher series, a series I still haven’t read. I also haven’t watched the tv show yet, as I first want to read the books haha. Somehow this just never is at the top of my TBR, but I do hope to read it at some point.

2. The Fifth Season – N.K. Jemisin
Another one that has been on my TBR for quite a while now, and I one I really want to read. I have heard so many amazing things about this book, but at the same time I can’t really say what this is about. All I know it’s a dystopian fantasy and that already sounds good!

3. The Last Ever After – Soman Chainani
I adored this series and I have to dive into the spin-off series soon. This is such a magical, fun and cute MG fantasy story. I love how it makes you think about good and bad and I personally really enjoyed the movie.

4. The Final Empire – Brandon Sanderson
I recently finished the original Mistborn trilogy, but I started reading it years ago with this first book. This one definitely deserves all the love it gets and I’m excited to read more Brandon Sanderson books.

5. Harrow the Ninth – Tamsyn Muir
After starting Gideon the Ninth, I finally read the book last year. The book ended on a twist I didn’t see coming and I was curious about the sequel. I have started listening to the audiobook of Harrow the Ninth and I should get back to that soon.

6. The Last Graduate – Naomi Novik
This one is the second book in a beloved series of mine. I adore these books and I have reread them a couple times lately. The magical school is so cool, but I especially love to focus on friendships and the books I have made me tear up for sure.

7. Fourth Wing – Rebecca Yarros
I felt a bit dumb seeing this title haha, I can’t believe this wasn’t the first that came to mind! After all the hype I decided to jump into the series and I have really enjoyed the first 3 books. It looks like it might be a while before we are getting the fourth book, but I guess that’s better then getting a rushed book.

8. The Last King of Faerie – Cassandra Clare
It’s been years since I read a Shadowhunters book, but I have been looking forward to the Wicked Powers series since I read The Dark Artifices series. I love the characters that this is about and I’m really curious as to how this series is going to wrap up the overall story. This is definitely one of my most anticipated releases of the year.

9. First to Finish – Rebbeca J. Caffery
I really enjoyed Pole Position, my first F1 sports romance. And I’m excited about this companion novel! This is about one of the side characters and I was really curious about what was going on with him in the first book, so I can’t wait to read what was up with him!

10. The Last Contract of Isako – Fonda Lee
I really enjoyed the Fonda Lee books I have read so far, and I’m excited about her newest release. This is a standalone space opera with corporate samurai. Sounds incredible and I can’t wait until we can read this!
These were 10 books with ordinal numbers in the titles. I had a lot of book with last in the title, so I hope that counts haha. Are there any big books with ordinal numbers in the title that I missed? I would love to hear from you down below!
