We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Besides work being pretty busy, I haven’t had much going on. I had a couple of relaxing weekends and our monthly book club last weekend. We have had some really nice weather. A little taste of Spring. Today is the start of my two weeks off of work, so I’ll definitely have more to tell when my next Royal Update is scheduled.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve been lucky to add the following eARCs/ALCs to my TBR: We Burned So Bright (ALC), The Debtor’s Game, Big Stick Energy, Change of Plans, My Brilliant AI Boyfriend, The Brave and the Fearless, Lake Effect (ALC), In Time with You (ALC), The Shippers (ALC), Over and Over (ALC), Not That Kind of Proposal, Maggie and Arthur’s Magic Moment, I Hope This Email Finds You in Hell, Heir of Prophecy and Into the Blue.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Glint, Fundamentals of Being a Good Girl, Fan Favorite, Margin of Error, Coldwire, The Poet Empress, Adrift, Role Model, What If I Never Get Over You, This Book Made Me Think of You, and Here for the Cake.

I’m currently reading: Daggermouth and A War of Wyverns.

Up next I want to read: Gleam, On Wings of Blood, Dire Bound, and The Long Game.

I’ve been enjoying watching movies I haven’t seen in years. The movies I decided to watch again are Save the Last Dance, Crazy/Beautiful, and She’s All That. I really love visiting the movies I loved when I was a teenager.

I was scrolling on TikTok recently and came across one of Alexander Stewart’s videos. The song sounded pretty good, so I decided to listen to his album. I’ll definitely be listening more often.
So that’s my Royal Update for this week! How have you been? Read or watch anything amazing? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!

I love Alexander Stewart!
