We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

It’s been a couple of weeks since my last Royal Update. The last few weeks it was going really downhill with my older horse and I was sure we would have to let him go. Miraculously he has gotten a lot better and it looks like he might make an almost full recovery! This past week I had a week off of work, which was really nice. I spend almost all of my time with the horses and competed last weekend as well. We got 2 first places and 3 promotion points, so we’re progressing really nicely! I also went out for dinner twice, went to the zoo with my mom and went on a tiny shopping spree. And I made my first milkshake with my Ninja Creami. Now it’s back to work!

I got one new eARC; The Lure of Wolves and Whispers by Amanda Connolly. That title definitely lured me in haha. I’m excited to dive into this one!

I finished my audiobook of The Hero of Ages and got the audiobook of The Way of Kings which I started right away. At the same time I’m also listening to Babel and before I go to sleep I listen to The Sunshine Court. I’m also still reading The Poison Daughter and Mr & Mrs Dixon Hide a Body. Can you tell I start a lot of books?

Since my last update I finished Stranger Things, watched the new Bridgerton season, the new  Lincoln Lawyer season and finally started The Pitt. I loved everything!

I’m seeing Florence + the Machine live this week and I cannot wait for it! Obviously I’m listening to the newest album on repeat.
