We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Once again, these last two weeks haven’t been too exciting. I ended up feeling under the weather, so I had a few relaxing days at home. We did go to see our best friend’s for a game night and we asked them to be our maid of honor/best man for the wedding next year. It’s an exciting time. Last weekend, we had a quite weekend at home and I baked a cake.

Since my last Royal Update the eARC gods have been very nice to me. I’ve added 12 eARCs to my Kindle: Famous Men, Thighs Wide Shut, Highland Hideaway, Stops Along the Way, Good Luck, Babe!, The Romance Rewind, Appetite, Mudlark, What Happened to Those Girls, Beware the Abbott Boys, Black Girls Don’t Cry, and Love Wells Kept.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: The Society for Soulless Girls, A Condition Called Love Vol. 11, Cat + Gamer Vol. 8, Daughter of No Worlds, Gild, Tough Guy, Playing with Forever, Rules for Fake Girlfriends, Superfan, Same Time Next Summer, Scythe, Overtake, Common Goal, and The Moon on a Rainy Night Vol. 1.

I’m currently reading: Glint, Here for the Cake, and Coldwire.

Next I’m hoping to read: Role Model, My Husband’s Wife, and Collide.

After catching up with a few shows, I decided to go back to Chicago Med and Chicago Fire. I love that these shows are still going strong and that I still really enjoy them. This year, I really need to make time and catch up with Chicago PD. I’m behind quite a few seasons.

A friend of mine recently said she was loving Demi Lovato’s newest album, so I had to check it out. The songs are very catchy and this one has been on repeat while I’m on my way to work (when I don’t have an audiobook going).
So that’s my Royal Update for this week! How have you been? Read or watch anything amazing? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
