Bookish Item| 2024 eARCs I Should’ve Already Read and Plan to Read Soon Part 2

A few days ago I posted about the 21 eARCs of 2024 releases that I still need to read and plan to read soon. The first part of this series were books I also physically own. Today I want to talk about the next batch that I’ll hopefully be reading soon. Let’s take a look!

Long Live Evil – Sarah Rees Brennan

Long Live Evil caught my attention because the main character will be the villain. That’s not something I see often in stories, so I was intrigued. The ratings are a bit mixed for this one, but I never let that stop me. All Hail Chaos, the sequel to Long Live Evil, releases in May, so it’s the perfect time to read this story.

Fear the Flames – Olivia Rose Darling

In all honesty, I’m a bit scared to read Fear the Flames. This started out as a self-published book before being picked up by Delacorte Press. I know so many people were a big fan of the first version, but when it got traditionally published almost 200 pages of the story were cut. So it makes me wonder if we’ll be missing things that could make this story be amazing.

House of Frank – Kay Synclaire

As a fan of cozy fantasy stories, I had to request House of Frank when I read the synopsis. Our main character is a lonely witch consumed by grief, but I have a feeling that the found family elements in this story are going to make her feel loved. I’ll be surprised if this book doesn’t make me shed a tear or two.

Rules for Ghosting – Shelly Jay Shore

It seems I requested a lot of fantasy books in 2024, haha. Our main characters sees ghosts and that’s not easy when you grow up in a funeral home. I know there’s going to be some kind of love story? I just don’t know how that will play out.

So here are another 4 of my 2024 eARCs that I really need to get to soon! Have you read any of these? Which one should I start with? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
