Wishlist Wednesday | Most Anticipated February 2026 Releases

Normally January is a month that feels like it goes on forever. This year that doesn’t seem to be the case. With only a few days left, it’s time for us to take a look at next month’s releases. What books are we looking forward to? Today we want to tell you about our most anticipated February releases.

Just for the Camera – Meghan Quinn (February 3rd)

In all honesty, if Meghan Quinn writes it, I’ll read it! I love all of her books. Just for the Cameras has fake dating, so you know I’m sold!

A Stage Set for Villains – Shannon J. Spann (February 3rd)

This is a dark fantasy and I don’t really know how to describe it haha. The last part of the synopsis sold it for me though; Riven faces a grim possibility: she might not be the hero of her story after all. In fact, she may be the villain. Sign me up!

Here Lie All the Boys Who Broke My Heart – Emma Simmerman (February 3rd)

A college student whose exes turn up dead after she wrote eulogies about them in her journal.  She is the main suspect and has to try and solve the mystery herself. I think this could be really great and I’m very curious!

Books & Bewitchment – Isla Jewell (February 3rd)

Our main character wants to turn a run-down video store into a bookshop. In this cozy romcom there’s also a forbidden romance and magic in this shop that was laying dormant. These are all elements I love in a cozy fantasy.

Red Star Rebels – Amie Kaufman (February 3rd)

I don’t read science fiction that often and I’ve only read books by Amie Kaufman written with another author. Red Star Rebels sounds like my kind of book. It takes place over 8 hours and our main characters need to stop an explosion.

The Lies That Summon the Night – Tessonja Odette (February 3rd)

I will never say no to a new romantasy. Art is considered a sin. I think that can make for a very interesting story.

It’s Not Her – Mary Kubica (February 3rd)

I loved She’s Not Sorry by this author, so I’m excited to read something new. When it comes to thrillers, I prefer not to know much before reading.

How to Kill a Guy in Ten Dates – Shailee Thompson (February 3rd)

A horror romance set at a speed dating event where multiple people get murdered during a blackout. I want to know more right now! The title is already a must, but the synopsis pulls it over the edge for me.

This Book Made Me Think of You – Libby Page (February 3rd)

When I read the synopsis for This Book Made Me Think of You made me think of P.S. I Love You. I’m a fan of books that explore grief and when a loved ones leaves behind letters or other things to help someone learn to live without them.

Get Over It, April Evans – Ashley Herring Blake (February 3rd)

Just like with Meghan Quinn, if Ashley Herring Blake writes it, I’ll read it. Small town romances are something I’ll never get sick of.

Still Into You – Erin Connor (February 10th)

Still Into You was one that caught my eye because of the cover. A singer finally agrees to an interview for the first time in years and it’s his ex who will be doing the interview? That sounds promising…

Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter – Heather Fawcett (February 17th)

A cat shelter that is also used as a shop for magic, sounds like a dream to me! This is marketed as a cosy fantasy and it looks so good. The early reviews are really positive.

Half City – Kate Golden (February 17th)

A romantasy with a magical academy where the characters learn to fight deviants. I’m already sold! Of course there are secrets, a love interest that might be morally grey and a dead parent. Can’t wait to dive in ;).

Weavingshaw – Heba Al-Wasity (February 24th)

This cover is so simple, but so interesting at the same time. I only know that our main character can see the dead and needs to save her brother. Both interesting aspects in a fantasy.

And Now, Back to You – B.K. Borison (February 24th)

Last year, I read First Time Caller and I had a great time. I ordered the Afterlight edition to match the first book. This is a When Harry Met Sally inspired romance. Perfect for the month of love.

Cleopatra – Saara El-Arifi (February 24th)

I mentioned this book before, I’m so excited for this one! It’s a retelling about Cleopatra’s life. I’m really curious what the fantasy part of this story will be and I can’t wait to finally read a book by Saara El-Arifi.

As you can see, February is going to be a busy bookish month! It’s been a while since we had so many books in one our most anticipated releases posts. Are you looking forward to any of these? Or did we miss any you think we need to know about? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
