Bookish Item| 2024 eARCs I Should’ve Already Read and Plan to Read Soon

My Netgalley feedback ratio is something I really want to work on this year, so I’ve been looking at the books I still need to read. There are 21 books released in 2024 that I still need to give feedback for. So here are the first five books I had eARCs I should’ve read already and will plan on reading soon. Let’s take a look!

All Rhodes Lead Here – Mariana Zapata

Mariana Zapata is an author I keep saying I want to read something by for years! So many of my friends love this author and she’s known as the slow burn queen (something I love). All Rhodes Lead Here was self-published and then picked up by a publisher. I only know this is a small town romance. I’m going in blind.

The Honey Witch – Sydney J. Shields

The Honey Witch is a book I’ve since heard some mixed reviews about, but I’m still very intrigued. The idea of nobody being able to fall in love with our main character is an interesting concept. I have a feeling that’s about to change in this story.

The Thirteenth Child – Erin A. Craig

The Sisters of Salt duology took place in a very interesting and magical world. So I have to say I’m curious about The Thirteenth Child. If I’m correct, the main character in this story is one of the sisters from that duology. She’s also the goddaughter of Death? Sounds like my type of story.

A Fire in the Sky – Sophie Jordan

I’ve read quite a few dragon books recently and I’ve been having a great time. So my eye keeps wandering to A Fire in the Sky. Magic seems to be dying in this world? That’s always something interesting in a fantasy book. Also, dragons are extinct? How is that going to work out?

Glow of the Everflame – Penn Cole

Another series that was self-published and then got picked up. I read and loved Spark of the Everflame. It’s time for me to see how this series continues. Especially because it seems that the fourth and final book will be releasing later this year. The release date for the final book was up in the air for quite some time.

So here are five 2024 releases I should’ve already read for Netgalley. I also happen to own all of these books physically now. That’s definitely even more of a reason to finally sit down with all of them. Have you read any of these? Which one should I start with? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
