We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I don’t really have much of a life update this week, haha. Life hasn’t been all that interesting. I’ve been working, reading, and just hanging around. We ended up getting a little bit of snow last week and book club! Sometimes it’s nice to be a bit boring.

Since my last Royal Update I added a few ARCs to my Kindle: Superfan (ALC), The Girls Before (ALC), Fated Skates (ALC), Dearly Departed, Burn the Kingdom Down, Daughter of the Hunt, Mad Mabel (ALC), and First and Forever.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Fight, Onyx Storm, Soul Searching, The Build-a-Boyfriend Project, The Well of Ascension, Game Changer, A Language of Dragons, Hopelessly Bromantic, Blackthorn, The Inheritance Games, Firebird, No Place Left to Hide, The Elsewhere Express, Heated Rivalry, and Hallowed.

I’m currently reading: The Society for Soulless Girls and Here for the Cake.

Up next I plan on reading: Gild, Daughter of No Worlds, and The Fundamentals of Being a Good Girl.

We recently watched Rental Family and that was such a heartwarming movie. I even ended up tearing up while watching it. Renting a person to pretend to be family or a lover is such an interesting concept. I’m glad we watched this movie.

And of course, I had to watch the first four episodes of Bridgerton season 4. It’s great being back with these characters. The ending of the fourth episode left me wanting more. I have a feeling waiting until the next episodes is going to feel like forever.

The fiance and I are seeing Evanescence in September and I’ve been in the mood for their music since then. So I’ve been listening to this playlist.
