Bookhaul| Christmas Bookhaul 2025

So I don’t think I’ve done a separate Christmas bookhaul in quite a few years, but my bookhaul in December is so large, that I feel I really need to. I was very spoiled in December, used my gift cards, and kind of wanted to go out with a bang in December and January before I really focus on adding less books to my shelves.

Let’s see what 19 books I found waiting for me under the Christmas tree!

Bitter Burn – Sierra Simone
Bitter Burn is the third and final book in the Lyonesse trilogy and seeing how I plan on reading Honey Cut very soon, I needed this book on my shelves. Also, these covers are all stunning.
Summer Island – Kristin Hannah
Kristin Hannah is an author I really want to finally give a try this year. I have The Nightingale and The Four Winds on my shelves, but Summer Island also sounds like a book I’ll love. I don’t feel like I see this one as much as other Kristin Hannah books.
Neverthorn – Shannon Mayer
I know this takes place in a school and former students have to train to take down their world’s villain. Academy settings tend to be a favorite of mine and this cover is stunning!
Dire Bound – Sable Sorenson
Dire Bound kind of seemed to take over the internet this year. While I don’t tend to gravitate towards shifter/wolf romances, this one does sound like something I’ll enjoy. This will be my February swoonalong read.
Savor It – Tarah DeWitt
Tarah DeWitt is another author I keep saying I want to read. Savor It has a stunning cover and I know a lot of readers love this book. I believe this is a small time romance? That’s all I know.
The Princess Knight – Cait Jacob’s
If I remember correctly this was described as Legally Blonde, but as a fantasy book. How could I not be sold on that description alone?
The Deathless One – Emma Hamm
I love this cover and the sprayed edges on this edition are stunning. A princess murdered at the altar makes a deal with the god of death for vengeance. That’s all I need to know. I have a feeling I’m going to love this book.
Empire of Shadows – Jacquelyn Benson
Empire of Shadows is a book I actually had never heard of that published in 2024. I saw Booksandlala read this on her channel and it sounded like a great time. I’m hoping to love this one just as much.
The Hawthorne Legacy & The Final Gambit – Jennifer Lynn Barnes
A few years ago I read The Inheritance Games and absolutely loved it. One of my goals this year is to finish more series. So I finally have these two on my TBR.
The Ever King – LJ Andrews
I feel like so many self-published books are being traditionally published. Including The Ever Sea series by LJ Andrews. Pirate books aren’t something I read often, but I keep hearing amazing things about these books.
Lady’s Knight – Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner
Lady’s Knight honestly seems like it’s going to be a great time. I loved The Lady Janies trilogy was so fun and this is pitched for fans of that series. I want to go into this blind, so I don’t know much.
Spellcaster – Jaymin Eve
A romantasy set at a college. That’s honestly all I need to know. Like I said when talking about Neverthorn, it really is one of my favorite settings. Friends of mine have read and loved this book, so it’s my turn.
Nobody in Particular – Sophie Gonzales
I still have two unread Sophie Gonzales books, but I love her stories. Nobody in Particular is her newest release and sounds amazing. A disgraced princess falls in love with a new student at their all-girls boarding school. This is definitely give some forbidden romance vibes.
Trul1f3 – Jay Kristoff
I finally got my hands on a matching copy of Trul1f3. This trilogy started off really strong with the first two books and I’ve been waiting for this edition to release, so I can finally read the third and final book. Now I need to figure out if I need a reread first or not.
You Are Home – Catana Chetwynd
Catana Comics are fun and relatable and I have a few of their comic collections on my shelves. I actually am a bit behind with collecting them and my fiancé (it’s still weird saying that, haha) surprised me with You Are Home. I already read this one and loved this collection.
My Heart’s Content – Catana Chetwynd
Besides You Are Home, I got My Heart’s Content. This isn’t a comic bundle but a journal. It has fun prompts you can fill in as you wish with some comics here and there. I haven’t done journaling in a while and this is a fun way to get back into it without having to create everything myself.
The Cat Owner’s Survival Guide – Sophie Johnson
My mother got me this cute little book as a surprise and the title alone had me laughing. I have a feeling this is going to be a fun little read in between some heavier books.
The Wolf King – Lauren Palphreyman
Like I already said with Dire Bound, I don’t really read wolf/shifter romances, but The Wolf King is another one that’s really caught my eye. A princess gets kidnapped by an alpha and that starts a war. We all know that more will develop between these two.

So here are the books I received for Christmas! Have you read any of these? Or what did you get for Christmas if you celebrate? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
