It’s once again time for our scariest post of the month… looking back at our bookhauls! Do we read the books we add to our shelves? This time we’re looking back at our November 2024 bookhaul. Let’s see how we did!

In November 2024 I added 10 new books to my shelves. Let’s see what I’ve read so far! I’m pretty sure I didn’t read a lot of this haul. Oops! Apparently, I didn’t have pictures of my manga. So I’ll still be using just the image of the cover.
Cat + Gamer Vol. 6 – Wataru Nadatani
Read
Cat + Gamer is such a fun and heartwarming manga to read! Since this haul I’ve also read volume 7. The eighth and final volume has already released, but I still need to get my hands on that one. I’m sad to see the series end.
A Sign of Affection Vol. 10 – Suu Morishita
Read
A Sign of Affection is still my favorite manga series so far. This one just has everything I need… a love story, a character finding her way in the world, friendships, and some side stories that are interesting to read about. We got volume 11 this year, but there’s still no date for the next volume.
God of Malice & God of Pain – Rina Kent

I haven’t read these two yet, but I have been working on Rina Kent’s backlist. I’ve read three of her series so far? I’ll definitely be getting to these in 2026. The editions with sprayed edges aren’t available anymore, so I’m glad I did preorder these books.
Kingmakers: Year Two – Sophie Lark

Another series I collected because of the sprayed edges. I’m almost done with the series I thought you’re supposed to read before Kingmakers. So I’m getting closer to reading this one!
Lady of Darkness & Lady of Shadows – Melissa K. Roehrich

Like I said last year, this series caught my eye because it’s recommended for fans of Throne of Glass. This year the rest of the series was traditionally published and that’s what I’ve been wanting for. I keep hearing good things about this series. At the moment, I also own her other series in the same world. I have lots of 2026 reading plans.
A Fire in the Sky – Sophie Jordan

A Fire in the Sky is a book I’ve been a little hesitant to pick up, because I haven’t seen the best reviews. That being said, it’s still a book I want to give a chance. I even have an eARC of the sequel I really need to read…
For She Is Wrath – Emily Varga

I still love this Fairyloot edition. They’ve really outdone themselves the last couple of years. Reading my special editions has become a goal of mine and you’ll read more about that later this week. So hopefully I’ll be prioritizing For She Is Wrath soon.
I Was a Teenage Slasher – Stephen Graham Jones

Like I said in the November bookhaul, I got this one to give a go for my Discord book club. Stepping out of my comfort zone and reading different things is still something I like to try. While this wasn’t my favorite book, I can see why people really enjoy this author’s books.

November 2024 was really boring, I didn’t get any physical or any audiobooks. It was good for my TBR haha, but nothing to look back on unfortunately.
