Bookish Item| December TBR

It’s time for my December TBR! I can’t believe that it’s the final month of the year. My December TBR isn’t going to be very big, because I want to finish up some of the books I’ve started and just haven’t finished. My month will also probably filled with a lot of holiday reads, but let’s take a look!

Group Reads

Good Spirits – B.K. Borison

Of course my swoonalong read for December had to be a holiday read. I love the idea that Good Spirits is a romance with the Ghost of Christmas Past. I’ve enjoyed books by this author before, so I’m excited to sit down with this one.

eARCs

December is a slower release month, so I only have a couple of eARCs on my list.

Love Me Stalk Me – Laura Bishop

Love Me Stalk Me sounds right up my alley. Our main character thinks she’s sharing all of her secrets with an AI boyfriend app, when in reality her hot coworker has hacked her phone. That’s all I know and want to know before reading this one. I’m hoping for many laugh out loud moments.

In Your Dreams – Sarah Adams

This is the fourth book in the When in Rome series and I’ve read and enjoyed two of those books so far. In Your Dreams is a romance between two old family friends. That sounds like something I’ll love and that will probably be a bit messy!

Physical TBR/Backlist Books

Somewhere Beyond the Sea – TJ Klune

The House in the Cerulean Sea is one of my favorite books and part of me is afraid to read a sequel in this world. I know some people were a bit disappointed because they went into this book with very high expectations. Somewhere Beyond the Sea is one I’m still really excited about, so it’s time for me to just finally read it.

Vera Wong’s Guide to Snooping – Jesse Q. Sutanto

I love a good cozy mystery and don’t read them often enough! The first book in this series was so much fun and I feel like a cold, dark day would be perfect for this story. It’s time to see what Vera Wong is up to next.

Dream On, Ramona Riley – Ashley Herring Blake

Dream On, Ramona Riley was one of my most anticipated 2025 reads and I haven’t sat down with it yet. This is a small town romance between a waitress and a Hollywood star. I don’t think I’ve read a celebrity/small town romance in a while, so I should end my year with one.

Like I said, this is a smaller TBR, because I want to focus on finishing books before the year is over! Have you read any of these? Or what will you be reading the last month of 2025? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
