We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is book covers that give off Fall vibes. I’m not really feeling that, so I’m going to do a part 2 of last week’s topic. Isabelle already shared her Fall 2025 to-Read list, so it’s my turn to share mine. I don’t tend to stick to TBRs, but these are books that have been calling to me recently. Let’s take a look!

Cursed Fates – Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti
It’s time for me to finally continue the Zodiac Academy series. I was loving the books, but I just got distracted. I’m back into my big book era, so this would be the perfect time to tackle this series. It’s also something I want to continue before I forget too many details.

Heavenly Bodies – Imanin Erriu
Heavenly Bodies sounds like a book I’m going to love and that I’ve heard a lot of good things about. This is one I also really need to get to soon. Fairyloot is going to have a sale for the sequel releasing in November, so I need to know if I want the matching set or not.

The Well of Ascension – Brandon Sanderson
Another book I started reading over a year ago. I was really enjoying The Well of Ascension, but again, I just get distracted. I know I’m going to be very invested in this whole world, so it’s time to continue. We’ll have to see if I need to start this book over again or not.

The Crown of Gilded Bones – Jennifer L. Armentrout
Besides my big book era, I apparently really want to catch up with series. As I’m preparing this post, I plan on rereading From Blood and Ash, so I can finally continue with the series. The Crown of Gilded Bones has been on so many TBRs. I just need to get on with it! I was enjoying this series.

Somewhere Beyond the Sea – T.J. Klune
The House in the Cerulean Sea is one of my favorite books and for some reason I still haven’t read Somewhere Beyond the Sea. I think it’s because I’m afraid my expectations are going to be too high. On the other hand, I really do want to read Arthur’s story.

Zomromcom – Olivia Dade
I think Fall is the perfect season for zombies and vampires. Don’t you? I’ve read Olivia Dade before and enjoyed her books. I love that our main character has to team up with her neighbor, who turns out to be a vampire, to survive a zombie apocalypse.

These Broken Stars – Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner
This whole trilogy has been on my shelves since right before my boyfriend and I moved in together almost 9 years ago. A few of my friends loved these books and they’re still something I’m interested in. There really are just too many books and not enough time. But seeing how these have been on my shelves for so long, I need to make them a priority.

Reckless – Lauren Roberts
I’ve been debating on whether or not I want to continue with this series. Powerless ended up being a bit overwhelming for me. The ending did leave me with some questions I am curious about and need to have answered. I actually enjoyed the novella, Powerful, more than the first book. Seeing how I do own Reckless, I’m going to give it a try.

Silvercloak – L.K. Steven
As you can tell, I’m definitely in a fantasy mood right now. Silvercloak is another book I’m very curious about. The magic system in this book is pleasure and pain. I don’t think I’ve read anything like this before. This author has written a few books I’ve loved, so I’m excited to see what story she’s told.

Fate & Furies – Helen Scheuerer
So far I’ve loved the first two books in The Legends of Thezmarr series. Seeing how I also have a Fairyloot edition of the first book in the spinoff series, I should make sure to finish the final two books. These books are very easy to binge and I’m excited to see how everything plays out.
As you can see I’m very much in the mood for fantasy books and for continuing series. Have you read any of these books? Or what do you have on your reading list this Fall? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!

These Broken Stars caught my attention a few years ago but I never read it. Maybe I’ll close out the year with it.
No, I’ve not read any of these, but hope that you get to read them all.

Fantasy is not a genre I read but I hope you enjoy all of them.
Zom Romcom sounds fun!
These Broken Stars was great – the whole series was a pleasant surprise. 🙂
I feel the same way about Reckless. Powerless wasn’t the best book I read, but I do want to know how the story continues. I hope you’ll love all these books whenever you choose to pick them up!

I need to reread the original Mistborn books at some point and then move on to the newer ones. It’s a great series! I hope you enjoy all these.
Happy TTT!
