We’re now in the last full week of September, so it’s time to take a look at next month. This time of year normally means we have a lot of anticipated releases coming up! Let’s take a look at October 2025 and see what books are coming out way!

Mate – Ali Hazelwood (October 7th)
Bride was Ali’s debut in paranormal romance and I had such a great time with it. So how can I not read the sequel? We’re getting Serena’s story in this companion novel and I’m so excited to get my hands on this book.

Grace & Henry’s Holiday Movie Marathon – Matthew Norman (October 14th)
Even though it’s still spooky season, I’m ready for all of the Christmas reads! As a big fan of the holiday movies, the title of this one caught my eye. I have a feeling this one is going to be an emotional one though.

Female Fantasy – Iman Hariri-Kia (October 14th)
Female Fantasy wasn’t on my radar until I recently saw it while watching a booktube video. Our main character is disappointed by all men except for the ones in her books. When she finds out one of the male main character’s is based on an author’s friend, she decides to track him down. This sounds like a fun story.

Dead & Breakfast – Rosiee Thor & Kat Hillis (October 14th)
Two vampires open a B&B and someone ends up dead there with two puncture marks in their neck. That doesn’t look good! They’ll need to find the killer to prove that’s not what their B&B is all about!

Isn’t It Obvious? – Rachel Runya Katz (October 21st)
The fact that our two main characters can’t stand each other in real life, but start falling in love online is a trope I love seeing in books. Add in the fact they work on a podcast together makes me want to read this one even more.

Good Spirits – B.K. Borison (October 21st)
Another holiday book I’m really excited about! It seems our male main character is actually the Ghost of Christmas past? That’s all I need to know about Good Spirits!
So those are our most anticipated October releases! Are you also excited about any of these? Or did we miss any you think we need to know about? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
