I still had a free month of subscription to Apple Arcade and to be honest, I never planned on using it. However, I was watching Cozy K Games on Youtube the other day and she convinced me to try it out! There are a couple of games on Apple Arcade she mentioned that I wanted to try. So today I want to share my first thoughts with you all!

Like I said, I was watching Cozy K Games on Youtube and I got inspired. After watching her favorite 2024 games I was already intrigued and after watching her video on Hello Kitty Island Adventure I decided to try out Apple Arcade since I still had a free month. And I’m pretty sure I have 3 more free months after that, but I’m not completely sure about it.

For those that don’t know, Apple Arcade is Apple’s subscription service to mobile games. It has a ton of games you can play and you pay €6,99 in the Netherlands. I’m not completely sure how much it is in the rest of the world, but I heard it was around 5 dollars. It’s not super cheap so I want to see how much I’ll be playing the coming month.

For now I’m interested in 3 games and I already tried 2 of them. The first one was Hello Kitty Island Adventure and I played for hours already, even though I got the app yesterday haha. I love cozy games and this is such a great one! You do little quests and the art style is so so cute. There are daily and weekly tasks and you get rewarded for coming back every day. At times I wished I could just keep going and was a bit annoyed that I had to come back at a later time, but I think in the end I might play the game for longer because of this set up.

The next game is Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom. This one is similar to Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you have a ton of quests to do and it’s just really chill. I’m enjoying it a lot, it’s easy enough to understand and play. You also get daily rewards so I now have 2 more games I want to at least check into daily haha.

The last game I downloaded is Disney Dreamlight Valley. I was so happy to see this one on here! Two weeks ago I was actually looking into getting this game on my Playstation, but I wanted to wait a bit because it was going to be a lot of money (as I was planning on getting all the extra’s as well haha). And now I can try it out for a bit on mobile!! I haven’t started playing this one just yet, I want to take my time as I think I will get lost in this one for sure haha.

These are the 3 games that make me really happy with this Apple Arcade trial I got going on. I’m really curious to see how I feel after this month.
