We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Books on My Spring 2025 to-Read List. I’m terrible at sticking to TBRs, but there is always a list of books I want to read. So let’s talk about ten books I’m hoping to read this Spring.
Rivals – Katharine McGee
Reading the first two books in the American Royals last year was quite a pleasant surprise. I received the third and fourth book for Christmas, so I really want to continue before I don’t remember a lot of the first two. I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot of drama again.
The Way I Hate Him – Meghan Quinn
Besides wanting to catch up with Rina Kent’s backlist, I also need to catch up with Meghan Quinn’s backlist. I actually don’t know much about The Way I Hate Him, but I remember a lot of readers were getting emotional while reading this one.
Rayne & Delilah’s Midnite Matinee – Jeff Zentner
Jeff Zentner is an author I’ve been hearing good things about for a few years. I finally read The Serpent King and Goodbye Days and both of those pack an emotional punch. His characters are flawed and you just want them to be happy. Rayne & Delilah’s Midnite Matinee is the final unread book by him on my shelves. It seems two best friends have to deal with growing up in this story.
Wolfsong – TJ Klune
The House in the Cerulean Sea is one of my favorite books and I’ve heard amazing things about this author’s Green Creek series. Wolfsong is the first book of what I hear is a very emotional series. I have a feeling I’m going to love it.
Say You’ll Remember Me – Abby Jimenez
So Say You’ll Remember Me doesn’t release until next month, but I’ll be surprised if I don’t read this one the week it comes out. All of the books I’ve read by Abby Jimenez have been five star reads for me and have made me cry. This one probably will as well.
Our Infinite Fates – Laura Steven
Our Infinite Fates will be a book I read sooner rather than later. Laura Steven writes amazing books and this one where two souls have loved each other for a thousand lifetimes and have killed each other in them all. This lifetime our main character wants to stay where she is and needs to find a way to do it. Early reviews have been amazing, so I’m excited to sit down and read this one.
Double Apex – Josie Juniper
For some reason I mostly read hockey romances when I go to pick up a sports romance. Double Apex is a Formula 1 romance and it’s not something I’ve read before. I’ve heard this one is also pretty emotional. I just added an eARC of the sequel to my Kindle, so I need to get to this one soon.
Great Big Beautiful Life – Emily Henry
I honestly don’t even need to know what a book is about if Emily Henry writes it. I do know that Great Big Beautiful Life is about two writers and they both want to write the biography of a woman who hasn’t been seen in years. This is going to be interesting!
Holding the Reins – Paisley Hope
Cowboy romances are something that I’m starting to love as much as sports romances. Holding the Reins is a book I’ve heard about a lot lately and figure it’s time to try this author myself. On top of that it’s a brother’s best friend romance. Sign me up!
Every Borrowed Beat – Erin Stewart
Our main character wasn’t expecting to live, but she got a heart transplant. Now she’s not sure how to live. From what the synopsis tells me, she ends up finding the family of the donor she received her heart from. This is going to be an emotional one.
So here are ten books on my Spring TBR. I’m excited to read all of these! Which book would you start with? Or what’s on your Spring TBR? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
Great TBR!
I feel the same way about my TBRs! Holding the Reins and Our Infinite Fates look amazing! I hope you’ll love all these books when you read them 🙂
