We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

It’s been a busy couple of weeks here during my time off of work. In between my activities, I also read quite a bit. Which you’ll see when you scroll down when I tell you what I’ve read since my last Royal Update. We went to Amsterdam on my birthday for Hardrock Cafe and Madame Tussaud. That was my mother’s birthday gift. I got a budget to go to the bookstore nearby and I bought some books. It was a great day!

We also went out to dinner at a Texan Bar & Grill restaurant near us and last Friday we went out to dinner with our neighbors. It was fun and we were the youngest people there, haha. During the vacation we also went back to the furniture store we visited in February to pick out our new dining room table, chairs, and a new coffee table. They won’t be here for another 12 weeks, but when they are, I’ll share pictures.

I added five new eARCs to my Kindle since my last Royal Update: Silvercloak, Say It Out Loud, Sunburned, Roll for Love, and A Dance of Lies.

Since my last Royal Update I read: A Torch Against the Night, Hopeless, Lights Out, People We Meet on Vacation, Off to the Races, Twisted Kingdom, Puck Shy, Black Knight, Nocticadia, Cat + Gamer Vol. 7, Wild Side, Magnolia Parks: The Long Way Home, Whirlwind, Promise Me Sunshine, Fan Service, Vicious Prince, Go Luck Yourself, Funny Story, and My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 Vol. 4.

I’m currently reading: The Charlie Method, Blind Pass, and Rachel Weiss’s Group Chat.

Next I want to read: Ruthless Empire, Royal Elite Epilogue, Reign of a King, and Wicked Beauty.

For movie night last week we watched The Gorge. It wasn’t a bad movie, but I will say I enjoyed it more when they were still talking to each other from a distance, haha. I don’t need all of the action.

I’m also still working on watching ER. We’re now on season 7 and I’m still having a good time.

I was listening to a playlist last week and heard a Delta Goodrem song, so I decided to listen to one of her albums.
