We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

After two incredibly busy weeks it’s finally time for a week off. I like having this vacation week, but it always goes by incredibly quick and before I know it, I’ll be back to work haha. Like I said, the past two weeks have been really busy but they were also pretty fun. We went ice skating with basically the whole school, that was so much fun! And last week we had ‘teachers day’, basically a fun day to celebrate all teachers birthdays. So I got a cool gift, a terrarium, it will keep itself alive with its own ecosystem. I can’t wait to see it in action.

I feel like I have been repeating myself for a while now, but no new eARC’s. However, I am reading one right now, so I’m slowly working towards my Netgalley ratio goal haha.

I have read quite a lot of books (for me), thanks to rereads and audiobooks haha. First I finished the Harry Potter series, so I reread book 5, 6, and 7. Afterwards I reread All for the Game 1, 2, & 3. I’m currently reading book 4 and I already bought the newest release: The Golden Raven. While I’m late to the party, I finally read Ninth House! I’m still reading (and enjoying) Silvercloak and I want to pick up another audiobook but I’m not sure which one yet. Also, because of Valentine’s Day haha, I started reading Flawless by Elsie Silver.

I have been catching up on a lot of shows, mostly ones that have new episodes on Disney+ here in the Netherlands. So I finished 9-1-1 Lone Star, caught up on 9-1-1, Will Trent and High Potential. I also don’t think I mentioned watching The Recruit, but of course I binged that show in one go as well haha.

I haven’t listened to that many songs (who am I?!) but I have listened to the deluxe edition of Sabrina Carpenters Short n’ Sweet album. There are just a couple of new songs and I’m not sure which is my favorite yet. But I do like the Please Please Please version with Dolly Parton and Bad Reviews!
