We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I had to look at my calendar because for the life of me I couldn’t remember what I did these past 2 weeks. And it turns out, I haven’t been doing that much haha. I have had a really busy time at work, and it still is quite busy unfortunately. Luckily I did have a wonderful dinner with one of my favorite coworkers and I went for dinner and a game of Catan to another coworker.

I couldn’t sleep the other week, I lay awake until 4 in the morning. So I decided to listen to a calming audiobook; Harry Potter. And afterwards I kept on listening to those books, they are so comforting and just what I needed with these hectic times at work. So I finished the first 4 books and I’m over halfway with the 5th one. I’m also still reading Dark Fae and I started Ninth House as an audiobook. After my Bookish Beginnings post I also kept reading a bit more in Silvercloak. So I have more than enough to read haha.

I got invested in Departure and binged both seasons available on Netflix. It is such an addictive show, highly recommend! I also watch most of 9-1-1 Lone Star, I just have one more episode to go but I don’t want it to end.

Like all of Booktok I have Ordinary by Alex Warren on repeat haha.
