We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I had a week off of work and had a really fun week. Firstly I had a lot of horse quality time and we have been training our young horse more and more so we can start competing in January. Next up was a two-day trip to Paris with my mom. This was so much fun, we went by train and spent our days eating and shopping haha. When I got back I also had a fun shopping day with my best friend. And after more horse time, I had the birthday of my bff’s kid and watched Formula 1. Today it’s back to work, it’ll be a busy couple of weeks but I’m also excited to get going again.

No new eARC’s this week, hopefully I can start to catch up on a couple eARC’s.

I have finished the Scholomance series, The Awakening and I read The Honey Moon. At the moment I’m reading Ruthless Fae and Finlay Donovan Is Killing It. After these I’ll probably read the next book in the Zodiac Academy world but I’m not sure what my next audiobook will be yet.

I haven’t been watching that much this week, but I did start listening to a Gilmore Girls podcast and that has prompted me to get back to my Gilmore Girls rewatch. That show will forever be a favorite and this time of year truly is Gilmore Girls time.

One of the things I have been listening to is the podcast Gilmore to Say. Like I mentioned, it’s a Gilmore Girls podcast, it’s a bit of a deep dive where they talk about all kinds of subjects within the show. I’m really enjoying it!
