We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
A lot of work and a lot of therapy are how I would describe the past two weeks haha. I don’t have a lot of exciting things to share, apart from one thing! Last Royal Update I talked about the young horse at the stables we are training, and Saturday we had a practice competition. He is such a good boy! It was still pretty scary and difficult for him, but he did an amazing job and we even managed to snag a third prize. I’m so proud of him and I can’t wait for our next competition.
I have two new eARC’s. The first one is very much out of my comfort zone but I loved the cover and the description does sound interesting, hopefully it’s not too scary for me haha. I’m talking about Bat Eater by.. The other book is much more a book I would normally pick up; The Book of Gold by ..
I’m still reading The Awakening, I’m 70% in so I hope to finish it this week. Thanks to audiobooks I finished Dreams of Gods & Monsters, And Then There Were None and The Blonde Identity. I’m currently listening to The Good, The Bad, and the Aunties.
I binged Nobody Wants This. Oh my, what a great romcom series! I adored it so much!! This is what we want. I’m also watching Only Murders in the Building and Agatha All Along every week and I’m so excited for the next episodes.
I’ve gotten tickets to Imagine Dragons and The Lumineers for next year so I have been listening to both of them. After seeing both of them before, I just know the shows are going to be amazing and I’m so excited for them.
And that was my Royal Update for the week! What have you been up to lately? And what have you been watching? I would love to get some recommendations. Let me know down below!
