We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The past two weeks have flown by once again! I have been to a concert, Sons of the East in Paradiso in Amsterdam, had a wine night with my two coworkers with whom I’m going on a trip this summer, made sushi with two coworkers, had drinks and dinner with another coworker, celebrated Father’s Day and watched the Dutch football team in the European Championships with my father, and rode our baby horse again, just to name a few things haha.

I have one new eARC this time, Norcliff by K.A. Connolly. This one sounds really cool and I can’t wait to dive in!

I finished Mislaid in Parts Half-Known but instead of finishing the other books I was reading I dived into the graphic audio’s of Fourth Wing. And I can tell you I became obsessed haha. In just a couple of days I finished Fourth Wing and the first part of Iron Flame. The second part of the Iron Flame graphic audio won’t be released until July 12th so now I’m debating wether I can wait that long haha. In the mean time I did go back to King’s Cage, hopefully I can finish that series soon.

Of course I have been watching Bridgerton last week! I finished the new episodes in one evening and enjoyed it a lot. Other than that, I also watched the first couple of episodes of the new Criminal Minds season and I started watching New Amsterdam.

I have been listening to audiobooks almost non-stop so I haven’t been listening to that much music to be honest. One thing I have been listening to is Sons of the East to get ready for the concert last week.
