We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
The past two weeks have been busy at work but also fun! We had our yearly team outing last Friday and it was so much fun. After working all morning we went karting and played laser tag. We went there with a party bus that also brought us to dinner. And after dinner we had a little party with a couple of co workers, where we just drank wine and danced all night. I had such a good time! And I also was super tired the day after haha. Yesterday was another great day, we went to pick up our young horse from being backed and trained. And I got to ride him for the first time as well. It was a great feeling riding him and I can’t wait to train him further back home.
I have two new eARC’s I’m really excited about; Shadowed Moonlight and Daughter of the Drowned Empire. They’re both romantasy books and I guess I have been craving that more and more lately.
It’s been two busy weeks and I haven’t read that much to be honest. I have read more Haikyu, volumes 34, 35, 36 and 37 to be precise. And I hope to read more soon, although I’m also trying to stretch it out a bit longer as I’m close to finishing the series haha. I’m reading both Mislaid in Parts Half-Known and Eldmoor and have been trying to read Assistant to the Villain when I’m laying in bed on time.
Last week Geek Girl was released on Netflix and I binged the whole season on Saturday. It was very enjoyable! I also finally watched season 3 of The Umbrella Academy and I’m close to catching up on The Rookie.
At the end of the month we’re getting a new Imagine Dragons album, and they already dropped a couple of songs so of course I’ve listening to those on repeat. They also dropped snippets of more songs on TikTok and I’ve been enjoying them a lot. I can’t wait for the whole album to be released!
