We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I had one more week off of work and then last week it was back for the final stretch until the summer break. After my ski trip I had to rest up haha, but I also got to enjoy the weather, got lunch with friends multiple times, went to a concert and just simply enjoyed my time off.

The first week back was also pretty enjoyable, I tried to go home on time and not be too hard on myself. It was nice seeing my coworkers again and I had a great time with the kids. Next week we start with a lot of tests and after it’s time for the final reports of the year so it will be a busy couple of weeks.

I’ve actually read a lot if I say so myself haha. Haikyu volume 27-33, The Assassins Blade (again!) and A Reaper at the Gates. I’m almost finished with Throne of Glass (also again haha). To be fair, a friend of mine finally picked up Throne of Glass after I’ve been raving about it so I had to dive back in as well.

I’m currently reading Mislaid in Parts Half-Known and I’m debating what book will be my next audiobook. When I’m in bed, I’m reading Assistant to the Villain. So there’s a lot going on haha.

Of course I have been watching Bridgerton! I binged the whole (half) season as soon as I came home from work on Thursday. It was extremely enjoyable and I can’t wait for the rest of the season to drop. There will be dramaaaaa haha.

Yes, I’m still listening to The Tortured Poets Departement. But I’ve also been listening to Hind’s Hall by Macklemore on repeat! And Billie’s new album is also in the mix. Honestly, it’s hard picking what I want to listen to haha. There’s so much amazing music!
